Firehouse/WiFi Irrigation (24-3) of the Mayfield Village Men's League has repeated as the BGSD Team of the Year in 2023.
FireHouse had another superb season by outscoring their opponents by an average of 13.7 runs/game in the highly competitive Mayfield Village league (run-spread in MV is 10 runs). FireHouse averaged 23.96 runs per game and had a team batting average of .680. They had two separate winning streaks of 11 games, and all three of their losses came against #4-ranked DeNigris Concrete (3-3 regular season record vs. each other, Firehouse went 2-0 vs. DeNigris in the Championship, however).

Mitch Lake Repeats as BGSD Player of the Year in 2023!

Mitch Lake of Firehouse/Wifi Irrigation in the Mayfield Village Men's league has repeated as the BGSD Player of the Year.
In 25 games played, Lake led his team to the #1 BGSD Team Ranking and put up these incredible numbers:
- .895 BA/26 HR/101 RBI/79 R/11 BB
Lake is third third multi-time winner (Justin Lukes '15 and '18, Aaron Krieger '19-21) and second player to repeat (Krieger twice in '20 and '21).
